Privacy Policy

Your data, how we handle it, and your rights as a customer of BookingDumpsters.

Last updated: May 23, 2026

BookingDumpsters (“BookingDumpsters,” “we,” “us”) is a service operated by Haz Tu Marketing. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what choices you have regarding that information.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the website bookingdumpsters.com and any related services we offer (the “Service”). It does not cover the privacy practices of independent dumpster providers who fulfill your reservation; those providers may collect information separately under their own policies.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information when you use the Service:

  • Identifiers — name, email address, phone number, billing address, delivery address.
  • Commercial information — bookings you make, dumpster sizes selected, rental dates, payment records.
  • Payment information — processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Technical information — IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URL, timestamps. Collected via standard server logs and cookies (see Section 6).
  • Communications — emails, SMS, and phone messages you send to us or that we send to you.

3. How we use it

We use your information to:

  • Process and fulfill your dumpster reservations.
  • Communicate with you about your booking (confirmations, delivery windows, pickup reminders).
  • Process payments and prevent fraud, in cooperation with Stripe.
  • Improve the Service, debug issues, and analyze usage trends.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. How we share it

We share your information only as needed to operate the Service:

  • Dumpster providers (such as TP Dumpsters and other partners): name, delivery address, phone number, and reservation details — so they can deliver and pick up your dumpster. Providers may also process limited payment data through Stripe Connect to receive their portion of the booking.
  • Payment processor (Stripe and Stripe Connect): the data Stripe needs to authorize charges, settle payments, and route funds to the appropriate Provider via destination charges. Stripe also calculates and collects applicable taxes based on your jurisdiction.
  • Analytics and advertising measurement providers(Google Analytics, Meta Pixel): pseudonymous usage data and conversion events. We do not share your name, payment information, or precise address with these tools. See Section 6 for opt-out instructions.
  • Infrastructure providers (Supabase for our database and authentication, Resend for transactional email, Vercel for hosting): under contracts that restrict their use of your data to serving us.
  • Legal authorities: when required by subpoena, court order, or law.

We do not sell your personal information for monetary value. We do not share it with data brokers.

SMS/text messaging consent is not shared with third parties. The mobile phone number you provide and your opt-in consent to receive SMS messages from BookingDumpsters are never sold, rented, or shared with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers shared with dumpster providers (above) are used solely to coordinate delivery and pickup of your rental, not for marketing.

5. Your rights (state-specific)

Depending on where you live in the United States, you may have rights under your state’s privacy law. We honor these rights regardless of the state you reside in:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you.
  • Request a copy of that information in a portable format.
  • Request that we delete that information (subject to legal exceptions, e.g. tax records).
  • Request that we correct inaccurate information.
  • Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising — though we do not sell your data for monetary value.
  • Opt out of profiling and targeted advertising.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

These rights are specifically protected by, among others: the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA), the Utah Consumer Privacy Act (UCPA), and similar laws being enacted across other states. If you reside in a U.S. jurisdiction not listed, we still respond to good-faith requests.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@bookingdumpsters.com with the subject line “Privacy request” and your state of residence. We will verify your identity and respond within 45 days (some states allow extensions for complex requests).

6. Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for two purposes:

  • Essential cookies (first-party) — keep you logged in, remember your booking in progress, store your service-area preferences. These cannot be disabled without breaking the Service.
  • Analytics and advertising cookies (third-party) — we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Service and Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. These tools may set cookies that collect pseudonymous data (IP address, pages visited, conversions).

Your choices: you can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and you can manage Meta tracking via your Facebook Ad Preferences. Most browsers also allow you to block or delete cookies in their privacy settings, and to enable a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal that we honor as an opt-out request for sale/share of personal information.

7. Marketing communications

We send two kinds of email:

  • Transactional emails — booking confirmations, delivery and pickup reminders, receipts, account notifications, and customer support replies. These are necessary to provide the Service and cannot be opted out of (as long as you have an active booking or account).
  • Marketing emails — promotions, seasonal discounts, service-area expansions, product updates. You may unsubscribe at any time using the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any marketing email, or by emailing privacy@bookingdumpsters.com with the subject line “Unsubscribe.” We honor opt-out requests within 10 business days as required by the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act.

SMS/text messaging program. When you provide your mobile phone number during booking, you consent to receive SMS messages from BookingDumpsters related to your rental — including delivery windows, pickup reminders, billing and payment links, and customer-care replies. Message frequency varies based on your rental activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Your consent to receive SMS is not a condition of any purchase. As stated above, your SMS opt-in consent and mobile number are not shared with third parties for their marketing.

8. Data security

We protect your data with industry-standard practices: encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted database storage, access controls, and limited employee access on a need-to-know basis. Payment information is handled by Stripe and never touches our servers in raw form. While we work hard to keep your data safe, no online system can be 100% secure.

9. Data retention

We retain your reservation and payment records for as long as we are legally required (typically 7 years for tax purposes) or as long as needed to provide the Service. Account profiles and communication history are retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure.

10. Age requirement

BookingDumpsters is a commercial service intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, place a reservation, or authorize a payment. The Service is not directed to minors, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, please email privacy@bookingdumpsters.com and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email or via a prominent notice on the Service.
